1.4.3. PostgreSQL

Use the following commands to manually create and initialize the bmfo database on a PostgreSQL backend:

createdb -U postgres bmfo
createuser -U postgres bmfo
createlang -d bmfo -U postgres plpgsql
psql -d bmfo -U bmfo -f %BMFO%\script\create_bmfo_ddl.sql
psql -d bmfo -U postgres -f %BMFO%\script\postgresql_ddl.sql
psql -d bmfo -U postgres -f %BMFO%\script\create_views.sql
[Warning] Warning

The default password for the PostgreSQL user bmfo is "bmfo". For security reasons it should be changed as soon as possible.
